Carriagehill Nursery – Paisley Childcare
We are a small family owned nursery, with two locations close to the centre of Paisley. Established in 2000, we provide quality childcare in a safe, secure and stimulating environment.
We appreciate that choosing childcare is one of the most important and emotive decisions that a parent will make. We aim to make using our nursery as stressfree and enjoyable as possible, for both child and parent.
We have an open-door policy and you are welcome to visit at any time. We would enjoy the opportunity to show you round our facilities and answer any questions you may have about our service.
We look forward to meeting you and your child!

Our Summer Programme 2016
Over the summer we will be running a programme of activities to keep the children busy over the summer period. A full copy of the programme should be in our parents’ email inbox, and is also available from the nursery on request!
As part of our summer programme we recently had a ‘Gruffalo Week’ – where the children took part in activities around the Gruffalo story. During this week, we had a visit from Zoo-Ed, who explored the story with the children and introduced the children to various animals featured in the tale.
The Uganda Project
For the past few years, Carriagehill Nursery has worked, in partnership with the St Andrew’s Academy Uganda Project, to build a relationship with the Good Hope Nursery in Uganda.
Parents and staff alike have been incredible with their efforts to donate and to collect items – clothing, books, pens, pencils and toys – which have now made their way to Uganda with the most recent expedition of the Uganda project. Two of Heather’s daughters, Chloe and Katie, were part of the group which travelled to Uganda in June 2015, where they helped in construction of a new classroom, and also with teaching in Blessed Comboni School.
The project made another visit to Uganda in June 2016, and Carriagehill – with the help of some generous parents – again provided a bag of donations which made its way out to Kigumba.

Eco Schools Green Flag
With a lot of hard work, and huge involvement from children, parents, and staff, Carriagehill Drive has been awarded the Eco Schools Green Flag!
This is the highest level of award, and is recognition of all of the effort in recycling bottle lids, clothes, plastic and paper, taking care of the garden and grounds, litter picking, and growing fruit and vegetables.
Thanks to everyone who has been, and is, involved in our eco committee, and eco activites. We are proud to say that our Green Flag is now flying high in the nursery garden!
